I read an article a few years ago about tuning topwater baits, (I think from Lee Tauchen). I can't recall exactly, but I believe it said to switch the hooks to 5/0 in the front, and 4/0 in the middle and rear. Also to add a split ring up front (neccesary), back out the rear eye, bend the prop straight but twisted, and bend the lip forward or backward.
I've got the 6 1/4" size, so 5/0 appears to be way too big for this bait. I'm wondering if I should still switch out the hooks to 4/0? Any other tops for tuning this bait? I can't seem to get it right.

i don't see any real wrong way to work a wobbler. I didn't change hooks or anything, I bend the front lip quite abit and then mess with the prop to get it to spin as fast as possible have had a ton of action on wobblers by doing this and i work them crazy slow with a rip every now and then
