I heard of a 41" killed opening day, Then I just saw a mid thirtys being dragged up the west end launch tonight by an old feller.[:blackeye:]

The local DNR said we had 99% release on Pewaukee...from the looks of it....we have ...that I know....25 or so released and two dead only three days into the season.

I am not really mad...this kinda thing happens all the time...I guess it kinda grows on you when you have a 34" size limit.

Jason, it's sickening. Those fish were probably kept by meathunters fishing for meat. Probably kept them because they think they eat the fish they are after. Pewaukee needs at least a 45" limit.

A 45 inch size limit would be great and a 48 would be better, but with the DNR thinking that 99% of the fish being released it's hard to reason with them.
I would like to see where they get there data from.
