Hey guys, I'm at my wits end trying to get fine lines & low pressure detail work out of my Paashe VL & decided to bite the bullet & join the Iwata family after reading many great things about them. My only concern is which brush to pick because Iwata seems to have such a huge selection. I guess I'm looking for a brush which is gravity feed, will spray base colours as well as side bars, halos, kill spots, etc, cleanly & without switching needles every five minutes, easy to clean & maintain & costs less than $400.

I know that there will be differing opinions but I thought if I could narrow the preferences down to two or three options, I probably couldn't go wrong! Obviously I'm looking for opinions from people who have lots of experience with Iwata products so let 'er fly boys!!! Thanks, John.

Pikester,

I have several Iwatas, trying to get one to do all what you want is tough, but if I were to buy one I would get the Hi-line series hp-ch with the .3mm needle. This model has the MAC valve (micro air control) on the bottom of the gun for better control of air. Really nice brush. Check them out here for real good price...

I bit the bullet and bought the Iwata Custom Micron Plus , and as Snax stated it will change the way you paint. This thing is awesome, it will cost you around $400 , look on Ebay and you'll find it around 380
