Anyone use these? I snatched one up from a clearance bin at Gander Mtn this weekend. Do you just twitch it like a jerkbait? Do they ride pretty high in the water column?

Have a couple and they are good baits. I haven't landed anything on them yet....... I fish them using short, sharp jerks to make it dart and dive. Has a very eratic action.

I like them alot. I prefer to let them sink for a couple of seconds after the cast then short quick snaps. When I first tried them they were popping to the surface. (which isn't bad either) until I started letting them sink. Also let them fall when they hit the weed edge.

Rod tip at the surface or just below and CRANK! Give it a pause now and again and it will glide/plane to the side. T's very nice. Steve

Those things can dance and swim like crazy. Ripping them probably works, but i watched bobtodd catch some good ones last fall just making them swim around lazily. Maybe he can add his 2 cents.

These baits are phenominal. You have to use them like a bass fisherman uses a Senko. Non-steroid enduced jerks with 1-3 second pauses. Bone crushing strikes from negative fish. In fact this past weekend I had the last Hawg Troph seminar at the WSAU Sports Show and it caught the only pike in the tank. I hit him so hard with the Jawbreaker he is now dinner....
