I received my first order from Stamina today and I can't wait to get tying. The only thing is I bought the wired with one end pre looped and I was wondering if I start from the top and work down or from the bottom and work up. Does it matter? Thanks for the help.

Bottom and work up. Finish with a loop you make yourself. That's my vote anyway. If you want something with loops that are particularly professional looking then start top down and finish the bottom with your own loop. Just my .02 pesos.

No, it really doesn't matter. I myself prefer to use the looped end on the bottom and work up from there. The reason being is that way if you want to add heat shrink tubing to your treble hook when connecting it to the shaft you can do so without any part of the skirt being damaged from the heat. It is also easier to guage the distance between the clevis and where you will form the top loop to ensure that the blade can revolve freely. I hope that's of some help to you.

When your done with your last loop at the top, try bending the tag end wire back and forth till it breaks of and it shouldn't take long. Dont cut the tag end off, if you do it will leave a bur and the line can get caught in it. By bending it till it breaks you will not have any burs, it will be nice and smooth.

Try it and let me know what you think.

My 2 cents.... Marc
