Location: Pewaukee, WI | I have a suggestion for you. Use window gasket sealing material. It's found in any hardware store or home improvement center and you can buy it by the foot. I use it for size 7/0 hooks and it costs $.15 a foot. I think the size I use is 5/16" O.D.. I use it on the baits I make when shipping them to a customer. The material is pliable enough to slip down to the point of the barb and can be easily removed by rotating it when pulling it off. This will be a lot cheaper then purchasing. I hope that helps you. |

Location: Yahara River Chain | Or how about that pipe insulation? Cut strips and open the foam and place around the shank and press onto barbs of the hooks. Might not do it with plastic baits and it may cause a reaction.
