| Hey there, I thought I would share one of the MuskieBurgers I made from a laminated wood called ColorPly. The color pattern runs all the way through the wood. All comments welcome. Thanks Ken

Location: Land of the Musky | Nice! If you can pump those out I am sure you will sell a lot. Those should be very tough lures! |

| Great idea Ken, what's the top coat? I suggest contrasting eyes on that body, maybe silver cornia? Duff |

| The finish on all my baits I make is two coats of Envirotex Lite. There are other good finishes also but this is the first one I tried and really liked it so I stuck with it. Thanks Ken |

Location: Bemidji, MN | does that stuff float? I have been messing around with it for making reel-seat inserts on rods, but haven't tried a lure. |

| Jason, it shouldn't. AS you've been working with it, you know how hard and dense it is. It's made from high compression polyester resin injected wood laminate. It's incredible stuff, really. You wouldn't need a finish on it at all, really. I use a plastics polish on it, sad to 12k, and it takes a mirror shine. I've done many lamps, hollowforms, and ther things with it. It comes in a GREAT range of colors, too. |
