Subject: Prop selection

I just purchased a 2005 1750 fishhawk dual console, 115 Opti, 9.9 Kicker, 80lb Maxum normally run 2 guys, and was trying to figure out which prop size and manufacturer would have the best SS prop. Looking for all around best performance. I have looked on Mercurys website to get an idea with there prop selector, as well as trying to find a dealer with a Demo program, Mercury has some listed but all say they haven't had the program in 3 years. Anyone running a 1750, would be interested in speeds and performance.

If you are close enough to Fremont, WI, check with Denny at Fort Fremont Marine. They have a Mercury Demo Prop program.

My guess is you'll end up with a 19" Pitch in a Lazer II or perhaps a Tempest Plus.
