| I was wondering if anyone filled out this form for selling lures. I was looking at making bucktails and was wondering the correct procedure/answers for the activity lever after page 2. Thanks Todd |

Location: Land of the Musky | Can you cut/paste the question from the form you are asking about? I can look back at mine and see what I put if I know the question from the form. |

Looks like you would be "A"
***Manufacturer of gas guzzler
automobiles, sport fishing equipment
(including fishing rods and fishing
poles), fishing tackle boxes, bows,
quivers, broadheads, points, arrow
shafts, taxable tires, or vaccines.
Then for your "Activity Description" I would just write in "Manufacturing fishing lures" or something like that.
Here is the online pdf form you can fill out and save toyour computer:
http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f637.pdf
Then it is nice and neat for the IRS to read. Then they come talk to you. For me this was great! I love getting free advice from the guys who will come get you if you do something wrong. Ask lots of questions and you will get a lot of good information.
Hope this helps.
James

Location: Wisconsin | I think you are going to be a B, an A is if you make the actual items such as hooks, etc. That is what I was to take it from my IRS agent. If I made the blades and such, I would be an A. B's take those items and make lures out of them.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I am a B on my form after the IRS had to go around and around with my agent and me about it. |
