Location: Liberty, IN (OKI Tri-State)		Mark Zona, host of The World's Greatest Fishing Show on the Duece, and in conjunction with the start of the 2008 Tri-Esox Show in Chicago, just did an entire program-TROLLING for Musky in Green Bay w/Maina!!!

Slap my face and call me a crappie... they worked 'em over pretty good and closed with a beast. Very cool indeed. Overall I felt they did a pretty good job showing the excitement of the successful hunt for this elusive apex predator and exposed an awfull lot of non-esox enthusiasts to the next level of serious freshwater angling.

Really have to believe that it has quite a bit to do with the cumulative affects of many factors over the past few seasons, including our growing numbers as an angling user group and such. Regardless my opinion, it was nice to see esox masquinongy put in Her well-deserved spotlight.

Now baby, here we go! Check it out and maybe even give those 'Suits' at Disney Corporate some positive feedback about their breaking from the mold and putting Her Majesty up there for a day. The futures so bright - we need to wear shades.

Everyone be safe that were able to make the trip to Harper College, enjoy the Show.

What was the actual name of this show?

I missed it, didn't even see the thread until yesterday (Wednesday). So, I went paging through the guide and was going to record some stuff on ESPN 2, because its a place I would have never thought of to record fishing stuff. Always on FSN or VS.

I can't find any show on there that is listed as anything resembling Mark Zona. Just about everythign on there just says "Fishing" or "Off Shore Angler" or something saltwater related.

Location: Bartlett IL		I have a Comcast/Motorola DVR. I know someone who used to work for Motorola and he told me most of the connections on the back have been disabled at Comcast's request. I thought I could use the ethernet or USB connections and a laptop but no go.

I bought a Panasonic DVD recorder and play back the show to burn it. Might be an easier way but this works. Store them in a CD case and they are ready to go.

Location: Northern IL		Been watching Zona for a couple of months now and he is pretty funny (for a bass guy, ha,ha) and he's a Bears fan so that's a plus!

One of the best spoonpluggers in the country John Bales from IN taped a show last Nov. on lake Erie with Zona and it's gonna air on Feb 2nd and 10th. John said Mark tried to get him to sing with him, John tried to ignore him, should be a good show!

For all that missed it the first time around, there's a rebroadcast set for this Saturday.

Zona is a real trip. Love to see him share a boat with Gillespie.
