Posts: 1316 Location: Lebanon,Mo | I have dozens of boat haulers right here in Lebanon,Mo. And as far as hauling them, they are pulled or set on a rack about 100% of the time. You can get one boat hauled,or ten at one time across North America. Most companies are going to charge you a one-way price, but still high.I think the last time i quoted a price was around 1.25-1.50 mile??

Posts: 317 Location: Grafton, WI | I also just came across the website uShip. Kind of like ebay, where you place an ad with the pickup/delivery places, and companies bid for your service... Anyone used this?

Posts: 341 Location: Passaic, NJ - Upper French River, ON | We looked into shipping one out from Minn to the east coast, and it was about the same for us to fly to Mpls, rent a Trailblazer, hook up the trailer wiring harness blocked off by most rental car companies, and drive home. Plus, we can't say no to a road trip. One Cave Run stop along the way, no fish though. Dealer surprised us by throwing in $300. for gas. Make sure you have towing coverage on your policy for rental vehicles.

Posts: 96 | I didn't have it shipped but rather went and picked it up. Had to go to Sturgis to get it so about 695 miles each way (only place I could find "the one"). I don't mind a road trip now and then so it wasn't too bad at all. Only downfall was I didn't have time to stop and fish on the way home.
