| I listed this on the pro's perspective and got eight responses. Trouble is they won't open. Here we go again:
Wondering about what rod/reel combo for casting light lures (ac shiners, etc.). Hooked a horse last year and couldn't control it with Bass tackle. Trouble was, the light lures won't cast on "real muskie tackle." Looks like I need something between bass tackle and muskie tackle. Need plenty of backbone while at the same time it must be light to cast the smaller lures. Your suggestions will be appreciated. Tom |

| Hey Kid, the reason that the topic replies will not open is because that the Pro's Perspective area is fully moderated. No replies will be seen until they are approved by Jason. He may be out of town at the Clear Lake outing with no access to the web. As soon as he approves the replies they will be posted. This format is so that the on site "Pros" can't get bashed as on other sites. Hope this helps.

| Thanks. A buddy of mine bought the Pete Maina rod for trolling. Never seen him use it for casting. Price was very reasonable. I think I'll try it out to see how I like it. Thanks for the info. about the pro side. I knew that posting an initial post about a subject would not show up, but never thought about the responses not showing. Makes sense to me.
