Subject: ABU 6500 KC3'S ?????

I was at K-mart last night because they were closing the store thus having some big sales. Well they have an Abu 6500 KC3. THese have the same specs but instead of a silver trim sticker it is gold and the spool is black, but still aluminium. The sale price was 57$. I picked one up for trolling and for guest right hand folks (I am a lefty).

Anyone have experiences with these reels?? Are they the exact same thing as standard C3's but made for Kmart?? My concern is they are made cheaper for Kmart. Anyway I saved about 14 bucks.

Cory - I recently picked up one of those, too, at K-mart. I posted this same question and was told the K stands for K-mart. No one said the guts may be different of of lower quality.

Check their web site. There isno mention of a different ADu 6500c3 so you may have gotten a great deal.
