I was messing around and found that the BPS power handle that comes with the Pete Maina reels has two settings. So I get to checking and find out the outside setting is actually longer than the handle on a Abu 7000i. So out comes the file (needs custom fit) and 5 minutes later I had a longer handle on my 7000i. "MORE POWER" So for those of you with both reels and no use for the power handle on the Maina reel there you go. Bring on the double 13's.

I'm guessing the size different is so minimal that you (or anybody) can't tell the difference over a day. But if you like it, go for it.

Bring on the double 13's for sure.

It is just a touch over 1/4" further out to the bearing in the handle, so I am sure it more than noticable.

You may be right. I would say a 1/4 inch would be more than minimal. Have a ball cranking them big blades.
