Hello I am new to your forum though i have been following the basement for a while now. I am prepareing to start making my own musky baits. (Have to get tools first.) I do do some wood work makeing custum walking and wadeing staffs and also custum walking canes all made of hardwood limbs from Ohio and Lousiana. If anyone is interested in looking at some of my work you can check out our site at satsumasticks.com My work and My Brother in laws work is displayed there. Im not trying to refer people to another site to sell sticks I just thought it would be easier to view them there and i dont want to put my work with all the nice work you guys do and display. I Have learned quite a bit about bait making from you guys just from following your forum. and I have seen some very very nice baits. I myself own about 300 baits but have always wanted to make my own. Catching a musky is the ultimate but catching one with a bait that my hands made would be mind blowing. I look forward to talking with as many of you as i can and there is always an open invitation to everyone to jump in my boat and throw some musky toyz. If anyone is ever interested in trading some of my art work for any of your art work just let me know. I would not hesitate owning any of the baits that i Have seen displayed on this page. I fish on Webster Tippy and Barbee chain in Indiana and if anyone wants to go I am usually out alone about 50/50% of the time. In closing i thank you for all you have taught to me and others about hand making baits. This site is great. Look forward to displaying my first self made musky toy and displaying what i have learned from such a great group of people. Thank you! Barry Vance
