Posts: 180 Location: Kinkaid Lake, IL | Baldy, Thanks again for the trade and I love the new addition to MOJO tackle. I got to see the Howie first hand and I'm sold! I plan on getting a few for this Spring and I know my dad wants to hook up with one for Canada this fall. I will send you an order for a couple Howies soon. Have fun at the next couple shows and see you soon. Thanks again, Scott Ps. Can't wait to hook a pig on my new 10" Weagle...

Posts: 2687 Location: Hayward, WI | Thanks for the video! Looks like it really has a nice roll to it. Can't wait to use the Howie and 10 inch Weagle. For as many days as my Weagle saved me this year, I'm sure I won't be disapointed. curleytail

Posts: 2378 | The Howie will not be in Milwaukee. Not sure on the colors for Blaine...everything I had in Chicago and then some. After the Blaine show, I will be either rolling out the baits to the retailers (if they want them) or I will offer them directly. Edited by BALDY 1/25/2008 1:52 PM

Posts: 2378 | Thanks Corey, but all I did was put it together. Howie came up with the idea. I've got another "version" in the works that may be unveiled in Blaine

Posts: 2024 | Definitely a sweet looking bait! My first thought was, "With that grub on the back hooking percentages have gotta increase compared to a solid wood or hard plastic rear end." Can you describe the sound (hard to hear it in the video with all the background noise)? I'm assuming softer than a Hawg Wobbler, but louder than a ___ (don't know what else to compare it to). Nonetheless, looks like a "must have" for our trip to LOTW this summer!

My first thought was, "With that grub on the back hooking percentages have gotta increase compared to a solid wood or hard plastic rear end." the lure was designed by Howie Meyer, who has a known affliction for tinkering with baits and especially putting rubber tails on everything. this is EXACTLY what Howie Meyer said about the design: that it was his best hooking percentage of any topwater bait.
