Any one know how fishing is in mid September? Is it a casting or trolling bite and how big do the waves get in this area? We found a great deal at a local lodge and may be headed up this year. Could 2 people in one boat stay in this general area and boat some muskies this time of year? Thanks in advance...

That time of year is weather dependant. You will catch fish if you know what you are doing. Waves will not be an issue- lots of places to fish in or out of the wind. We were there two years ago and boated 25 muskies in 7 days fishing. Good luck

Stayed in Osbourne last summer and although we boated a few fish in the bay we had our best luck in Nivens Bay which is about a half hour boat ride but worth the run.
