Who has used the musky innovations rods? Would you recommend them? I am thinking of buying a setup just for throwing mag dawgs.

I would recommend them for throwing Mag Dawgs.

You can use any longer (8+) foot rod with heavy action for a mag dawg.

These rods were built for Pounders and such.

Don't waste your money for throwing mag dawgs.

Also, you will loose alot of fish with these rods if you use them for bucktails and mag dawgs.

It's likely not the rod that's loosing the fish. There are several models available. I used a 9' foot Super Mag all season for DBL 10 fishing with no hookup problems at all. Works great in the figure 8 and all other aspects. I would highly recommend the rod.
