| Just got an email from Paul Peck, at RiverRun Tackle. Mantas will no longer be sold through distributors, but will be available directly from RiverRun Tackle begining about March 1st.

to scale back our operations so that I can spend more time with my family and
do the truly important things in life like teaching my son how to fish while

reaching me that Mantas have sold in excess of $50 in recent online auctions
on fears that they will no longer be available.
Let me be the first to put any fears to rest. I am very pleased to announce
that we will continue production on a limited basis for you, our loyal
customers. Our target date to open our secure, online store is March 1. Due
to the popularity of the Manta, I highly suggest that you place your orders
soon after March 1, because there will only be a fixed amount of lures
available each year. When we’re out of stock on an item, that item will not

LOL, darn. Just when I thought I might get $50 for the one I have. Seriously though, I bet this made a lot of guys happy.

1) My favorite glider maker wanted to buy out my second favorite glider maker
2) The shops that carried them put them in the angler's hands, and will not be able to carry their products (GREAT PRODUCTS) anymore.

| The only part of the email i dont like is the limited amount! If you dont get what you want you going to have to wait anorther year!! I am sure the will sell out fast because the are awesome lures!! But now he knows how much they are going for on ebay!! What do you think!! Thanks |

Location: Medford, WI | I still think they'll end up selling online through private guys for quite a bit. When the owner/operator of a company states:

...I would assume that they will more than likely run out rather early and prices will be driven up again. I hope not as I love Mantas, but I also have a few in excess that I bought to try to make a quick profit on (I'm not afraid to admit it).
Good to see that there will be future Mantas though.

Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | Ok, I checked....our store system says that Appleton doesn't have small Mantas, but they have Hang 10's..5 each of Small Mouth Bass, Orange Tiger and Orange Bandidt.
Wausau has a better selection, the biggest number I saw is 18 Night Black small mantas.
Here's something I did notice......almost every color of both the small Manta's and the Hang 10's is in the system as incoming to our Distribution Center......dependng on the color...15-30 of each. Which means both Wausau and Appleton should be seeing a new assortment of about 3-5 of each color and size.
If we weren't getting these baits, they'd be on clearance, which they aren't. Look for a better selection, not huge, this spring.
