Subject: bait water ph

My well water is a bit acidic to keep bait in and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on products/ways to raise the ph of the water? With no decent bait shops near by I try to keep a few dozen fatheads and suckers on hand (none for muskie) to be ready to go.

Thanks for the suggestions, Elwood Brehmer.

Dude, I use a 3lb. plastic tub of "Better Bait" out of Texas....works good + the water is a neat looking aqua blue too...same stuff they use here in bait holding tanks...1 heaping table spoon will treat 50 gallons of h2o so it should last a LONG time...if you can't find it in a catalog the # is 1-(210)372-2239..Sure-Life Labratories.[:sun:]
