Mepps fishing lures in Antigo, WI is going to have a 2008 Mepps Musky league this summer.
Dates are from May 26th, 2008 through August 30, 2008.
This contest would be open to all Wisconsin weekly Musky leagues that fish in WI waters or the boundary waters of the U.P. of Michigan, no Canada, no MN, no Illinois, only waters of WI and the mentioned waters in Michigan.
This contest is going to have be on the honor system and then I would need your help each week, supplying me with information on the anglers and Musky they caught. Yes, the Musky must be caught on a Mepps lure to qualify for the contest.
We would have two winners at the end of the year, Mepps WI Musky league Champion - Largest Musky caught on a Mepps and then a Mepps WI Musky league champion - most inches (points)

The biggest challenge will be getting the information on anglers and their catches to me weekly. I will have no problem keeping track of the information once you get it to me.
I would like to finalize the list of participating leagues by 5-30-2008, then send out to everyone the final details.

So far the following leagues have expressed interest in joining this contest, they are as follows: Eagle River, Three Lakes, Rhinelander, Madison, 12 Apostles, Between the Lakes Muskies Inc, Wausau and Madison.
