| Anybody have any problems with them? I've had mine for a while now and just this weekend started acting up a bit. The constant on switch would not shut off. Then when it shut off, it wouldn't come back on. This went on for about 15 minutes. It has been working fine since, and has been flawless up until then. I wondered if dirt or dust could be an issue or if anyone has experienced this and has a remedy.
Thanks |

It's still a piece of plastic that we stand on...it is going to break.
I have only gone through one this year and it isn't completely shot yet, but I just use my back up now until I can take it in to get replaced.
I wish they would make the foot pedal even more simple. Take off the very bottom right, left and on buttons. and put the constant on the right side not the left so your not always bumping it.
They almost have it right...if they would only talk to fisherman before they start making these things!!!!
So far I love my Terrova, and I will be putting on the 2008 Polar Kraft. |

Location: north central wisconsin | No issues to speak of after the first year. I think the pedal would be simpler and better if only the back right left and on buttoms were there, and the waste of space foot pad was gone. What I am getting at is, making a couple different types of pedals would really be great for a variety of folks. I would only need a 6" by 6" pedal, not the cumbersome one I only use 10% of. That said, I do like the motor quite a bit.

| I had similar problems with mine sticking on and off. It just seemed to get worse over time, so it took it to Minnkota in Mankato. They called me back and said it was just dirty. They said you should take off the bottom cover and clean it and the problems should go away. I have already winterized my boat so will not be able to try it until next season. |

I worked with Minn Kota for a number of years, and can assure you...they talk to fishermen. Alot. |
