Lets all be honest, we all had trips were we havent even had or follow. Or when your lleaving one swims by the doc. What has been some of the craziest things you have done to catch fish. One time after cleaning walleye we took the blood and the guts back in the water thinking we could get them to bite!!!

Have reused suckers.
freeze them individually after an outing, thaw out overnight and throw them on a weighted QS under a bobber. Figured a dead one would leave a nice scent trail for a lazy ski to follow and have an easy meal. First time i tried it, it worked but ol toothy clamped down behind the treble and couldn't get a good hookset i found out later at boatside when it just let go and did a visual on the sucker.

PS, i wasn't too cheap to buy new ones but figured it was worth a try to change my luck.

If it wasnt against the law, I would trying using the dead bait they uses for sail fish. They look like 8 inch gar fish. They make a harness with rope in the eyes and then add a circle hook. They cast them just like grandmas. They look like they would work good.

I think Larry Dahlberg has kite fished for muskies. I could be wrong, but I remember reading about it on one of these boards last year.

stuguts, try it with ciscos on the lake they are caught in. Catch ciscos ice fishing and then rig them for casting very effective.
