Anyone know if there is anywhere near Duluth,MN where I could purchase a small muskie for my fish tank? I want to be able to fish for muskies all winter long:)

FYI, I contacted the MDNR and they gave me the location and phone number of the nearest dealer. Evidently the info is not on the web.

You better hurry up because if you want to have them shipped it won't work too well when it's freezing...

Also, get tigers. They're WAY more fun in a tank. They'll eat 8-10x more then a spot. They like to move around more too.

I had a walleye, spot and a tiger in the tank at once. The tiger was the coolest followed by the walleye. Spots just sit there.

Do you need any kind of special permit or license to keep them in your home?

Thanks for the info! As I understand the law, you don't need a special permit to have them in an aquarium. However, you do need documentation from a licensed game fish dealer to transport them if you are over 16.

You'll technically need the documentation for the muskies because they're under the min size requirement.
