Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Same idea, but now with your boat/motor in mind. Items to keep the rig going if for some reason you have issues with it on the water...
Items here would be something that will fit in a tool box. A spare prop would be separate, but definitely on the boat...
again, this is just a start. |

| I keep a spare prop in the truck. Sometimes in the boat for a tournament when I'm on a system with a lot of junk, and I'm going on long runs. Jumper cables for the TM jack to the cranking battery. About the only thing I do have is a toolkit along, and that stays in the truck, too.

Location: nationwide | We actually worked on a boat this past weekend. The water outlet sprung a leak and filled up a motor cover with water .. . . which apparently is not good and killed the motor. I pulled it to the island we were set up on to shorefish and went to work. We had some zip ties on one of the other boats and got it repaired in about a half hour. Then the guys boat lights did not work so the next day we repaired the lights (bow or stern) with WD-40 and sandpaper, along with an extra bulb. All these items plus the tools we needed were in our boats and the repairs were done on the island we were shorefishing.
I am always accused of having more things than I need but at times the "junk" comes in handy. The baitwell in my magnum is where I keep all my repair items, and it is full.
