Posts: 2089 | The new 12" Big Game minnow is awesome, but I've only been using it for a month or so.My all time favorite is the Slammer 10" Deep Minnow. They are now being made in an injected plastic and are super durable. The thump of these baits is amazing.Gook Luck! Steve

Tony, you will find that the best wood trolling baits are pretty spendy...Wishmaster, Talonz, etc. Beside those, the 10" Slammers (used to be wood) are very nice. The new 12" Big Game looks pretty nice as well.

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | Does an 8oz. 18 inch long swimbait count? SuperD 8oz. I have been hearing of a LOT of success on big swimbaits on Mil Lacs in the last week. No reports on my SuperD but I only have a few out right now. I have heard great success with the big Shack Attacks and Mag Dawgs though. Also the big double bladed bucktails are doing well this fall. Good fishing to you!
