Location: Boulder Junction | These baits look very real. How have they perofrmed for you? Is this a personal favorite or top performer for any of you?

Location: Boulder Junction | Can they be this bad? I guess the answer is yes.

Posts: 1243 Location: Musky Tackle Online, MN | The feedback that I received from a lot of customers when I worked at Gander Mountain is that they were a one fish bait. Definitely look realistic. But by all that I have heard, just not very durable. Aaron

Posts: 221 Location: ohio | Great, I just bought one this morning, BUT, if it catches a good fish, it's worth it.

Yup They catch fish but don't last. One fish will make it look like you hit it with the weed wacker. I have had two, caught two fish, after each fish, the finish was smoked and in need of lots of epoxy.

Posts: 38 Location: Rhinelander | I agree..loved the looks. second time using it I had a fish hit it and scratched the finish, which turned into peel. Next time out I bumped a rock and broke half of the lip off. To bad because the action was good and the fish ssemed to like it for the little I got to use it.

Posts: 2112 Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | Swims great, however: The material is the same thing you use to fill in cracks in your house. "Great Stuff", available at your local home center, is basically the same stuff these baits are made of, (as well as one other brand). Lori caught a HUGE Largemouth on our honeymoon (3 years ago). ever since, she asked me to re-paint/ re-build this bait every other trip. Epoxy does not hold the lip (replacement, when it fell off on a back-cast), and no matter what primer, paint, clear coat, this bait was born to die. Sweet bait, however, right out of the box.
