I am trying to replace the prop on my trolling motor and the screw in the center of the prop will not budge. I've put liquid wrench on it, tried vice grips, nothing seems to move it. Any other ideas??

Take a socket that you don't mind destroying. Cut 2 notches 180` apart. Put it on a ratchet and you should have plenty of leverage to break it loose.

The black plastic wing nut came off without a problem, it is the metal one in the center. Is that suppose to stay on? Again, I don't have a parts/owner manual for this motor.
