Location: Hayward, WI | Lately I have been doing pretty well with a black Weagle during the crappy days we've been having. But, anything that works, will probably only work better when it's raining. Throw proven baits in good spots and you should get eaten.

| Had 1 swing at a top raider, and saw a big girl follow a chopper to the boat yesterday in the rain. TTurn is right on, it seems like whatever you like to throw, only works better in the rain. |

Location: God's Country......USA..... Western Wisconsin | Fished an 8 hour Bass tournament in a downpour last Sunday on Bone Lake. Threw a jig all day and took 2nd in the tourney, partner and I landed one about 38 and one well over 40. Got bit off 3 times and pulled the jig away from 2 more at boatside. I know I am crazy but did not have the time to play or to dig out more jigs. I guess that there is a first time for everything, may have to change my board name to muskyonceinwhilesecond. I guess that jigs work in the rain pretty good. |

My best action has been on BLACK baits in the rain. Bulldawgs, bucktails, Pacemakers, Shallow Invaders ... the list goes on, but the one thing they all had in common was the color black. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | One, yup. me too. Do REALLY well during rainy periods on deep and weedline realted bass and muskies here in Oneida. I remember picking off those bucketmouths on Bone during October and November rains... |
