Location: Gurnee, Illinois | Ebay, Paasche VL, and I use the cheap water based acrylics from Michaels craft store. Lots of colors to choose from, usually under $1 a bottle. If you don't want to mix, you can buy Createx paint.

| I used Pasche for years, and then tried an Iwata gravity feed and will never go back. The Iwata beats the Pasche for quality, simplicity and dare I say, makes quality painting easier. (Thanks SNAX!)
If you are just starting out, I would combine both of my Pasche set-ups and sell them to you at a very fair price. One is probably 3 years old, the other is about a year. All sorts of tips and other fixings to go with 'em. Mix and match, all parts are compatable.
I was going to use one just to put the basecoat down, but the Iwatat is so good that both of the Pasches have sat in a box since I got the Iwata just to "check out".
It was like checkin'out top shelf booze before hitting the bar run-off.
Don't know how long you've been painting or your skill level, but I have 2 Pasche double actions that aren't doing me any good in a box in the garage.
You might have to clean them up just a little. I never used water-based paints.

Location: Muskoka Ontario,Canada | Beaver said it all. I use Iwata airbrushes exclusively for good reason.
Beaver, I'm glad that you are happy with your Iwata and feel free to contact me if you ever have any issues with its performance. I keep my airbrushes in peak performing shape at all times.

Location: Hyvinkää, Finland, Europe | My choice is also Iwata HP-series, I use Spies & Hecker's (thinner based) car paints for coloring but I don't know are those available there.
I've also used Createx-paints couple of years but didn't like them. |

Location: Bemidji, MN | Wich model Iwata are you guys using? I think I need to upgrade from my badger anthem. I am using createx auto-air, and I like it, because I have to paint indoors due to long cold MN winters. |

Location: Muskoka Ontario,Canada | I use couple of models but an Eclipse CS is a versatile brush. Out of curiosity, do you heat set your Auto Air paints on your lures? I use them for helmets and it's quite durable once heat cured. |
