| Don't really understand your question, Matt.
Do you want to update your unit's firmware? Or are you looking for the software to transfer and work with waypoint data?
If you want to update your firmare, you can get that from Lowrance, and do it yourself. Go to the following link.

Follow directions, and you'll be set/ You will need a SD memory card, and a card reader/writer.
If you want to transfer and manipulate your data, go to the following link, and install GDM6. Follow thew directions, and you'll be good to go.

Do not try to install this if you have MapCreate6 installed on your computer. |

| Shep, what I want to do is transfer waypoints from my friends lakemaster chip to mine. Tried to do it the other ay and it wouldn't let me.

Location: Madtown, WI | I don't think t will let you do it from his lakemaster chip. But if you take a standard memory card and save his data to the card and then upload it to yours it will work.
I wouldn't be saving any files on a lakemaster chip...didn't even know you could actually....you start messing with saving or trying to download etc from the chip I think your asking for trouble...

Dont save anything to a LakeMaster or Navionics chip...I believe it formats the entire chip.
