When do Cisco spawn and what water temp..I know it should be coming up soon just like to narrow it down

Im pretty sure its around 42 degrees and around the full moon at the end of October...I could be wrong though..Im sure somebody else on here knows for sure...

it all depends on moon and water temps. its the same as our shad runs here on st clair. hit it and you will have drags hummin

From what I have seen, it has more to do with water temps than the moon. Esox1750 hit it pretty close with 42 degrees, but I have seen them going in both warmer and colder temps. This is not a single night event, and not all the cisco's spawn at the same time. They will begin to ball up in the daytime near their spawning areas, and move up shallow right at dark. This can continue for a week or more if the water temps don't fluctuate drastically. I have seen some absolute monster walleyes joining in on the feeding along with the muskies. Very cool stuff.
