Muskie Fishing -> General Discussion -> Fox Chain Guide Recomendation

I am interested in hiring a guide for a trip to the Fox Chain in Mid May. I was hoping I could get some recomendations from the MF crew as to who you may have taken a trip with before and what you time on the water was like with these guides.

Thanks in advance,

Doc

Scott Jenkins would be my first choice or Dale Hurd as a second choice.
Ether one will do a great job for you.

Doc,
I would also have to say Scott Jenkins.

I've had the pleasure of being one of Scott's next door neighbors for about 4 years. We both have a love for fishing and got together one day for a trip out on the Chain. I was immediately hooked on Musky fishing and even more impressed that I boated 6 nice fish the first year I went along. I had never fished them before and have yet to stop. Our best morning consisted of several Muskies boated within an hours time. If I recall correctly three of them were over 40". Scott knows the Chain in and out, and will put you on fish. You won't go away disappointed. In fact, I find the information he shares with his patrons is well worth the cost of admission. Go with an open mind and ask all the questions you can.

Although my career has taken me to Green Bay Wisconsin, I keep in touch with Scott as much as I can. It's not just the fishing, but the friends you make along the way!

Good Luck!
