Does anyone else have the same problem with moisture under the screen? I had a unit do this last year (937c), sent it back and they sent me a brand new unit.. The new unit I take off my boat every time my boat sits, try not to expose it to any rain, unless I am fishing in the rain, and now I am getting moisture under the screen again.. My other graphs and GPS's are Lowrance and I have not had this problem with those units...

Any suggestions on how to not let the problem get worse, so that I can make it through the year?? Also, I lost all my GPS points last year with the new unit, when I send this one in, how do I save my data???

I've had a few different units over the years from different manufacturers and they all fog up a bit after a while if the weather conditions are right. It clears itself during the day though. I think it's just one of those things, the nitrogen leaks out after a while.

Thanks Tim for the reply, the problem is that last year it go so bad that I could not see my screen for the first half of the day, finally the unit just died... I really don't want that to happen again..

to save your data:

1. buy a blank chip from any store that sells them.
2. insert new chip into you gps unit. remove map chip.
3. turn on gps unit.
4. go to navigation on your menu. (i think) or search and you will fin it.
5. scroll all the way down and export data.
6. done
