Location: South Portsmouth, KY | Anyone noticed on the pounder dawgs that the split rings are doubled? Has this configuration been a problem with anyone? I have heard bad things about the dawg splitrings in the past and was just wonderin if it would be best just to replace that configuration with a Bucher #7 splitring. Thanks! |

| I've wondered too as the Mag Dawgs are too, so rather than chance it I replace all with Wolverine triple splits. Sometimes the 2nd ring is not even thru the hook, just on top of the other, I see that as potentially more harm than good.

| General rule of thumb, replace all split rings and hooks on all bulldawgs.... I REALLY wish that musky innovations would just start selling the dawgs with no split rings or hooks, it would save me alot of time!!!!
