| I just wanted to publicly thank Frabill and the guys at MuskieFIRST for such outstanding support of the Anglers' Legacy program, http://www.anglerslegacy.org. Through partnerships with such outstanding companies the future of sport fishing and boating in this country is in good hands. Take a few minutes to check out what Frabill is doing for our sport. They are an absolutely wonderful company to work with as is OutdoorsFIRST. Thanks again for all of your support guys. Dave Landahl RBFF | |||

Posts: 32955 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Take the Pledge to take someone fishing, share the tradition and perhaps win a cool T shirt, $500.00 tournament entry or $500.00 of Frabill gear. Win-win deal for everyone, so get in there and take the pledge! It only takes a few seconds, and many of us already are sharing a boat seat with folks not yet acquainted with the fishing bug. Easy to do, click here: http://www.anglerslegacy.org/ Then click on the Frabill Logo to read about the program. On the upper left on that page, there's a "take the pledge' link. Fill it out and in the 'partner code' box enter 'Frabill07'. Done!

| all signed up. please remember that this isn't just signing up to try and win something, but rather it's making a pledge to share our love for fishing and the outdoors with someone new, especially someone young! | |||

| Lambeau, You are right on the money. The numbers of folks fishing in this country has been declining steadily since the early 1990's. Since over 80 percent of every states fishing money comes from all of us who buy fishing licenses it makes sense why we are seeing fewer new fishing opportunities, less enforcement, less access, etc. The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase participation in recreational angling and boating and thereby increase public awareness and appreciation of the need for protecting, conserving and restoring this nation's aquatic natural resources. The bottom line is that anglers are some of the most important pieces to the aquatic conservation puzzle. If we don’t share and protect our legacy nobody will. I can't imagine a world where we can't rip lips and enjoy a day on the water. Thanks again for all of your support. Dave Landahl RBFF [email protected] | |||

Posts: 1764 Location: Ogden, Ut | I signed up for the Angler's Legacy program a while back and have already made good on my pledge twice. Planning on adding a couple more before year's end. Natural Resource agencies across the nation are fighting a losing funding battle as the number of participants steadily decreases. It is part of our job as sportsmen (to be taken as a gender neutral term) and citizens to put any selfishness aside and get more people involved. Without participants, outdoor recreation as we know it will disappear all together. S.

Posts: 32955 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Sign up, take the pledge. It's simple, and what you are doing is promising to take someone fishing, nothing more. Join the program and post your experience taking the newbie out on the water!

| Just in case there is any confusion the Frabill code is Frabill07. Thanks so very much for all of your support. Dave Landahl RBFF [email protected] | |||
