| There was some confusion on the message boards recently regarding terminolgy used on the MuskieFIRST board.
Rather than allow the confusion to fester Steve Worrall has opted to change the message headings to a "BASIC" heading on MuskieFIRST rather than a "101" subject.
Nice job Steve, you are a classy dude...

| As usual, clearer minds come to the front and prevail.
Steve, if you're not doing anything for the next few weeks, I know some people in the Middle East that could use your help.[;)]

| Not sure of the "confusion" referred to. I have never been confused about which site I was on when viewing a topic with a "101" in the subject.
Please enlighten me.
Tight lines,

| Tough deal, posting on these boards.
Try to give a guy a pat on the back and the rest of the world takes anonymous pot shots. Go figure.
I do not think there was any real bashing.
If you look at the posts, the people who run this site made the offer to change the postings just because of the perception of confusion by others. The "someone who runs a site with 101 in the name" never made the claims.
In looking at both boards the people who run them seem to have kissed and made up but the rest of the world would rather make anonymous posts to stir the pot.
I hope the ice goes out soon... |

| Brand and product loyalty, including media, is a strong motivator. Any time there is the door left open to a Band X VS Brand Y debate, it WILL eventually happen. The debate really is a compliment to both organizations, if taken literally!!
No worries, Mark, Spring is here, and the river in Rhinelander is over the banks!![] [:sun:] [;)] |
