I've heard the opinion that hookups are better on the front bladed topwaters than the backbladed ones. Seems to make sense, but throw what feels good to you and you will be happy. m

I check one of mine. They are 6" and that is just the body. Total length with the shrink tubed rear hook it 8 1/2"
