Any one use one of these? While on vacation this past week, fished out of Destin FL. The mate was using a long handle (20") boga lip grip style tool - all logos and names were worn on the tool, but I thought I saw the red "B" on the handle. I realize that he is proficient with the tool by virtue of his job, but I was amazed at how easy he was able to clamp down lift the fish and remove the lure. He used it on a 48" king that was still green at boatside and it made me think of it's use on muskies.

Has anyone used this long handle grip tool? If so, is it a Berkley product?

Thanks

Probably a Boga grip tool? I seen many a fisherman use them especially when there fishing with kids or anyone not wanting to get that close to the fishes mouth, I think you would be better off with a large jaw spreader and a good release glove if its hooks and teeth your worried about go with a kevlar glove or that chain stuff they use for shark suits That grip tool promotes to much of a vertical hold and the jaws on the tool seem to put to much pressure in one spot, a gloved hand would be much more comfortble for the fish when getting it out the net..... just my opinion.
