What do you do to treat old hair baits once they dry out and get brittle. Is there anything to do besides cutting and retying? Probably a stupid question, but is there anything you can do to soften the hair up and liven it up?

Hair from a properly tanned tail, should last as long as the bait (muskys have destroyed it), unless you found it in your dad's old box. If the hair has been compromised by heat, chemicals, etc., run your woman's conditioner through it. Otherwise, learn to re-tie it.

I agree, washing it like you do your own hair. But Conditioner with body enhancer works best.

Will Pert also help untangle maribou? Sometimes when I put it up wet, it gets clumpy. m
