I really don't have any big bladed tails in my box. The largest is a Mepps Marabou (#7 blade I believe) and the only double blade is a 7"er with #6's. So I've been looking at DC-10's and all the big baits but for reels I have two 5.3:1 and a 6.3:1 ratio. The 6.3 makes everything heavier in the water but is great for picking up slack on jerkbaits. For rods I have an 8' MH HMX and a 7' MH Gander series rod. The 3rd is a shorty (6'3").

Will I regret trying to pull double or even single bladed #10's with my gear? I would just hate to spend the money on a few of these lures and not be able to throw them for very long. Or would I be better off picking up some #8's or a double #8?

Thanks for the help guys,

Mike
