Posts: 46 Location: Central Illinois | I'm trying to paint the tail of a walleye dawg white. Any ideas? I use sharpies for other colors but they don't make a white sharpie. Thanks for the help!

Posts: 164 | I have a few cans and bottles left over that I never used on the for sale page. This is a dye, painting a soft plastic bait is a whole different ball game.

Hmmm... the Colorite website seems to have closed, don't know what that means but it is probably not a good sign.

Posts: 734 Location: Watertown, MN | Simply cut off the tail and melt on the tail color of choice, I do this to all dawgs right out of the package. Better action, and I like the added contrast of colors. All walleye dawgs have white tails, and natural dawgs, will end up with orange or white tips. Troyz

Posts: 132 | If you want to spray paint on them like a wood bait there is a product called SEM Vinyl and plastic color coat. It works great. It's sold to Auto Body shops and may be available if you have a good auto store near you. They sell it to auto body shops that do plastic and vinyl repair. It's about $10-12 a can and is available in a hundred colors.

Posts: 46 Location: Central Illinois | Thanks everyone! I tried liquid paper and I couldn't get it to dry all the way, maybe I'm doing something wrong. Does spike it come in white? I can only find bright colors. I think Troy Z. has the right idea to get a white tail. I'm just going to have to cut and melt.
