I'm trying to paint the tail of a walleye dawg white. Any ideas? I use sharpies for other colors but they don't make a white sharpie. Thanks for the help!

I have a few cans and bottles left over that I never used on the for sale page. This is a dye, painting a soft plastic bait is a whole different ball game.

Hmmm... the Colorite website seems to have closed, don't know what that means but it is probably not a good sign.

Thornes has a product called "spike-it". That's what I use.

Simply cut off the tail and melt on the tail color of choice, I do this to all dawgs right out of the package. Better action, and I like the added contrast of colors. All walleye dawgs have white tails, and natural dawgs, will end up with orange or white tips.

If you want to spray paint on them like a wood bait there is a product called SEM Vinyl and plastic color coat. It works great. It's sold to Auto Body shops and may be available if you have a good auto store near you. They sell it to auto body shops that do plastic and vinyl repair. It's about $10-12 a can and is available in a hundred colors.

Thanks everyone! I tried liquid paper and I couldn't get it to dry all the way, maybe I'm doing something wrong. Does spike it come in white? I can only find bright colors. I think Troy Z. has the right idea to get a white tail. I'm just going to have to cut and melt.
