Went out last night at 8:00-10:30,

Everetts Bay was 68.5* the wind blowing 20-30 mph

Hit Big Bay and the 3-4 ft. rollers and tried to stay on a couple of fishy Reefs but got soaked by trying to keep the boat headed into the wind.

Big Bay was 68-69*

Water levels are about 6" above normal thanks to alot of rain.

I"m going to try to get out again tomorrow if I can get away from work.

Went out last night from 5:00pm - 11:00pm

Man it was windy as heck again, 3 ft. rollers out on the main lake and a cold front was moving thru. Last night it got down to 42* in Tower.

Anyway Big bay was 66*, moved a nice mid. 40" fish in Stuntz on a mag. dawg.

Went north of Pine Is. and the water temps were 68.3* so I camped on the weeds until sunset. Once the wind died down a bit I threw the 10" Weagle,... Man does this thing move some water! At about 8:30 a fish showed itself, took a swipe at the 10"of wood, missed it about 40ft. out and than nailed it about 15ft. from the boat.
A nice 42" muskie in 7-8 ft of water right off of the weed edge.

Finished the night on some rock piles tossing (what else) a Weagle
no takers this time. Muskie fishing been generally pretty slow form talking to others out on the lake. I only saw 3 other muskie boats out there last night.
Good Luck out there, I'm headed for the PMTT in Eagle River but I'll be back on Vermilion on Monday.

Hey Jerome, long time no here. After a three week layoff from the cabin (graduations)I finally got back up there and fished this weekend. Didn't put to much time on the water because my folks were up visiting. The wife and I did not see a dang thing. Again, we only put in two hours so I did not expect much. It sounds like you are still woring in the area. Are you going to be in the neighbor hood by my place this weekend? If so, stop on in. How you doing in the PMTT? My old partner Mark hooked up with Tony H. and looks like there sucking pond water. Get a hold of me and will talk.

Glenn,
Good to hear from you, I'll be back up this week working in Virgina but plan on fishing every chance I can get.
I'll go by your place and look you up, the fishing should be picking up pretty soon.

I was out last fri, and sat.( total of 12 hrs.) East side, Big Bay water temps were 71-72*

Shallow weedy bays were 74*.

I had eight nice fish up on smaller baits but only 1 that tried to bite. The biggest one at least 51-54" was way to lazy to be bothered by my bait.

fished both weeds and rocks but most of the ones I saw were out on the rocks.
I haven't moved a fish yet on the larger baits (Mag. Dawgs, Cowgirls, DC10., ect.) Reg. Dawgs, Smaller Phantoms, reef hawg, , Baby Wabble, and Weagle have been the only baits to get looked at.

I'll be out on Thurs, and Friday, before heading to Sab. Bay for a week with a bunch of Chi Town "Muskie Mafia" type guys.

Later, Jerome

Hey Top H20,

Great to finally put a face to a name, I ran into you on June 20 out in Big Bay, I was fishing with Matt Snyder near Arrowhead; you were running north above Pine and said you had just moved that fish in Stuntz. I have talked with you in the past about fishing Vermilion; I am on the Big V every week from opener till ice up...look for an old/beat up Crestliner Fishhawk (blue/white..not to be mistaken for other Crestliner drivers who frequently cut guys off). If you are ever on the north side of Pine, I am on the island in the S Turn with three docks...stop by and have a beer, I'll be up Tuesday/Wednesday and Friday-Sunday.
