Subject: swim baits


just watched an In-Fisherman episode on tv and they were talking about using swim baits. now they mentioned that they have caught lots and lots of big muskies on these baits also.........anyone using them right now??? which ones are you using? colors? sizes?

Been using them for a few years with excellent success. Size is dependent on lake and forage, but I have had good results with the 9" Storm Wildeye, the 8" & 10" Castaic swimbaits, and the 8" Huddleston's. Reaction strike has some baits out that look just like the Huddleston's, for half the price. Howie Meyer has had good luck with the Shack Attack line of swimbaits. You have lots of options compared to just a few years ago. They are a lot of work to throw all day, but they will pay off if you stick with em.
