I didn't see a post for it, so I figured I'd do one.
I hope all the dads out there had a great day, and got to spend it with their kids.
We had many dads coming in to The Sportsman with their kids buying crawlers, leeches, etc. Nice to see that time on the water was being well spent.

To Bob Peterson:
Thanx for putting up with such a rotten kid, and teaching me your love for fishing. You ROCK Dad!

My daughter and I had a great day on Pewaukee, She landed her first muskie on a red/white hog wobbler right in front of these 4 guys fishing for I don't know what? I turn when I heard "DAD" and saw this 30" fish flying out of the water with bait in mouth. After a short battle and a hook that released real nice the fish was on its way, I forgot the net at home and we didn't get a picture, but the look on her face will last in this Dads memory for a long time.

Happy Day to all Dads....

Sue and I spent Father's Day morning fishing bass and gills on water where I had a chance at a Muskie too. No muskies, but I had a blast! We then took 12 gills home, and Sue made me brunch. Big storms rolled through this afternoon with spectacular lightning that took out our power here for a few hours. The grandkids were over during the storms, and we had a great time watching the storms roll through. We needed that big rain, that's for sure.

Going to pick up Michael at 9 PM at the airport, flying in for the Rhinelander Outing all the way from Norway!

Had a great weekend with my girls and the rest of my family, and my youngest daughter and I rented a boat and checked out a new musky lake this afternoon. All Tigers!

had a great father's day on boom this weekend with all the kids, the ex-wife, the ex-husband in-law and his kids ... we fished, tubed, swam, dodged storms and chased muskies (although just a few hours), but two solid days with all the kids playing on the water. we did get into some great smallmouth bass action and found them off the gravel bar between the islands ready to empty our leach bucket.

there was a chamber tournament held on boom this weekend and 7 fish were caught ...

Took the old man out on the BIG Pond this weekend. Still learning the salmon thing, but with Nikki driving the boat and me setting lines we had a pretty good flow rolling. Picked Dad up at 3:30AM, on the water by 5 and everytime the old man fell asleep a rod when off. Funny enough, the rods ONLY went off when he dozed off. I got around an 8-10lb coho and Dad missed two (fighting salmon 120 ft. away with a muskie rod NOT suggested, must get more gear!), stopped at perkins on the way home, then to inlaws part one, then to Nana's for an hour, then out with In-laws 2 for dinner. Went to sleep at 8:30PM, back up at 6AM. Must....work.....hard....yearh right.
