Subject: Lake Vermilion report

Hey everyone, John Petruska here from reeltimeguiding.com. The musky fishing on Vermilion has been pretty good the past couple of days. The water is warmimg up and the muskies are on the move. The water temps are in the mid 70's in the smaller weedy bays and temps out in the main lake are in the high 60's. Most of our fish we've caught so far this year have been in the smaller bays with new weed growth. We've been throwing smaller bucktail and spinnerbaits over the new cabbage. We've seen some 50 inch plus fish but haven't been able to get them to eat yet. I've tried the rock piles out in big bay but haven't had much luck. Seen some fish but very inactive but that should change soon. That's it for now we'll catch ya later. Thanks, John. www.reeltimeguiding.com
