Hey there ~

I was wondering if any of you Illinois musky men and women ever give this little power plant cooling lake a shot. If you know anything about the lake and are willing to share any information to bust ahead of the learning curve please shoot me a PM. It would be nice to have an alternative closer to home than the Chain.

Thanks,

Rainman JD

I checked the Il. DNR web site about Heidecke and what I found out WAS VERY INTERESTING! Especially the stocking program. I have'nt fished it in years but I would imagine concentrating on the 1 natural shorline area. I believe a nice weed edge was developing. With the power plant now shut down, normal water temperatures would now apply. A definite big fish sleeper. Kdawg
