Whats the size structure in those lakes like lately, good chance at an mid upper 40's? 50"er potential?

Mid 40" yes there is a chance, but I think the majority of the fish are 38" - 42".. 50" fish are in both lakes, but pretty rare.... They are both fun lake to fish, but they are no Mille Lacs.... Alex would be your better choice for bigger fish...

Alexander has a great fish population. They have been stocked in there since '88, so there are plenty of fish in there with size. I have pulled fish out of there that were in the high 40's including one 49"er that we caught in 2001. Had one hooked that was over the 50" mark, so they are in there.
