Subject: Mille Lacs landings

I heard a lot of chatter this spring about the low water in Mille lacs and the need to possibly pay to launch at a resort rather than the public access points. Is the water level up to a point where the public launches are fine?

You can launch a boat from most of the landing.. The ones I would question are Wealthwood and Malmo, however I have seen plenty of trailers in the parking lots... Those accesses are all sand, so it is not like your going to destroy your prop heading out... South end at Cove, Isle and Cedar Creek(East) should be good.. West side at Indian point and Garisson sould also be just fine...
