Location: Forest Lake, Mn | Has anyone been having any success on the North end by The Red door? We were thinking of heading up that way next weekend but thought maybe it is still a little early. Any tips or comments appreciated!

| Hit the North end on Saturday evening and the only fish we saw was one that surfaced a cast in front of the boat. The weeds are only a couple feet of the bottom and we only saw 2 other boats muskie fishing. I would give it some time yet. |

| North end doesn't usually go until July. Walleye fishing should be good around Red Door now. Otherwise your best luck for muskies will be Twin, Isle, Wahkon and cove; maybe vineland. Fishing the weedier bays. Although it will be a warm week and there could be a few moving to the north end by the weekend. North end I look for water temps nearing 72 degrees.

Location: Forest Lake, Mn | Thanks for the replies! I had a lot of fun up there last year in mid July and thought maybe a person didn't have to wait so long. I will continue to hammer away in the North metro.
